⁣Il Volo is a popular trio of Italian opera, composed of baritone Gianluca Ginoble and tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto. They describe their music as ‘popera’. They won the 2015 Sanremo Music Festival and represented Italy in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest held in Vienna, Austria. They won the third place, but won a solid first place in the TV voting.
